Is there any cost involved in getting a webcast room?
Answer: We offer a free, 3-person webcast room to all our visitors. This room will expire at midnight. If you would like to keep your conference room or upgrade to a larger room there is a cost. See our Pricing Page.
Do I need to call a phone number as part of my online conference?
Answer: No, Our system is 100% web-based. VOIP is built into the webroom. All you need is computer speakers and a microphone. (Built-in or External)
Can I test your webcast system?
Answer: You may enter into our Demo webcast room to the left and test it all you like. The best way to really get a feel for it however, is to get your own free room!
What types of media can I upload into the room for my guests to see?
Answers: You may upload the following types of media: PowerPoints (2003 or older) & Image files such as jpg and png. You can also take a picture of any application on your computer to have displayed into the webcast room, or push up any webpage in the built in webcast room browser. You can also do a screen cast, sharing your screen with everyone in the room.
How can I pay for my webcast room if I choose to keep/upgrade it?
Answer: We accept all forms of major credit cards.
Will I be tied into a long term commitment or contract?
Answer: No, our billing goes month to month. You may cancel your room at anytime.
Will my guests have to download and install any software?
Answer: No, our webcast technology runs on Java which all PCs and Macs have pre-installed. There is a small plugin that is required to download, but there is no software to install.
Do my guests need high speed internet to participate in the webcast room?
Answer: No, we recommend that the moderator (presenter) have a high speed connection but our system has been tested on all speeds including dial-up and has performed well.
Is there anyway to record my webcasts?
Answer: All our webrooms have a built in recording feature. Just go to the File Menu and select “Record Presentation.” (Note: this feature can be disabled/enabled by the webroom moderator)
Is there a limit to how much I can use my online conference room?
Answer: No, all our online conference rooms come with unlimited usage.
Is there a limit to how many people can login to my online conferencing room?
Answer: Yes, the monthly fee associated with the webcast rooms is in direct correlation to the number of people you can fit into your room. Please see the Pricing page.
How can I get additional support?
Answer: You can fill out the contact us form on the About page.
How do I get a permanent room?
Answer: Sign up for your own free room. Enter your back office and click on the link to “Upgrade Room.” Choose the size of room that you wish, and enter payment information. Your new room will be created.
How do I pay my bill each month?
Answer: The credit card you used to make your last payment will be used to automatically bill you for your conference service every 30 days. You may change the card on file at any time by logging into your back office and clicking on “Accounting.”
Can I upgrade or downgrade the size of my room?
Answer: Yes, you can downgrade or upgrade the size of your room at any time you wish by logging into your webcast room back office and clicking on “Accounting.” (Note: We do not prorate your billing. Every time you change the size of your room you will have to pay the full amount and your monthly billing date will be reset to that day)
Answer: Your billing cycle is based on the date of your first payment.
